Ryan Gallimore is a mixed media creator, fearlessly delving into the realms of beauty and chaos.
Within this kaleidoscope of elements, his art becomes a dynamic force, capturing turbulent realities. Embracing dissonance, he strives to provoke thought.
His artistic adventure takes detours, from creating a series of birds through pyrography to sculpting miniatures and keycaps, from colorful and vibrant paintings of monsters to nature inspired macro-photography. Ryan has 25 years of experience as a professional artist. He is known to work with paint, charcoal, clay, polymer, wood, recycled materials, and fire. He often incorporates his knowledge of carpentry, welding, metal-working, and electronic elements into his creations.
Ryan's commissioned works can be seen locally and across the US. He currently has a pyrography exhibit at Studio 8 inside the SOFA Arts District in Santa Rosa. He was commissioned to create a bronze plaque at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. He's been a featured artist in Austin's art magazine, Almost Real Things.
